At ImpactHer NC, we provide hands-on support and life-changing services for single women, mothers, and families in transition. Our programs are designed to help women reclaim their independence, build new skills, and create a better future for themselves and their children.
We help women complete their high school education by connecting them to GED prep courses, tutoring, and testing resources. Whether you’re starting from scratch or just need help finishing, we’ll walk with you every step of the way.
Our workforce readiness track includes certified nursing assistant (CNA) and personal care aide (PCA) training, so women can enter healthcare with credentials, confidence, and a clear career path.
From resume writing to mock interviews, we provide workshops and one-on-one coaching to help participants prepare for today’s workforce. We also support job placement and reentry into the labor market after incarceration or hardship.
We offer guidance and support in finding safe, stable housing. For women in crisis, reentry, or leaving unsafe environments, transitional housing options are available in partnership with local providers.
ImpactHer NC is a safe, judgment-free space for women escaping domestic violence. We help connect them with emergency shelter, legal advocacy, and counseling services.
We understand the challenges of starting over after prison. Our reentry program offers case management, job support, mentorship, and a strong community of women who’ve been there.
Through our partnership with ConfidentYoungMinds.org, we offer:
• Grocery assistance for families in need
• Summer camp sponsorships for children
• After-school program referrals and academic support
